Restoration Bistro

First off the Sangria was delightful. I liked the small shareable plates versus the big dinner plates. My husband was opposite me. Haha The recommended warm Chocolate Lava Cake with vanilla ice cream, fruit, Carmel & Raspberry sauce was shared and Great!!!

Great service by Gracie! Loved the calming ambiance and small town charm with brick walls and top-notch dining.

Beautiful place! Staff was very friendly and attentive. However, had the meat loaf, ate it all due to amazing flavor butttttt the texture was a little off due to the beef being over worked and turned into tofu/ a brownie pan of meat.... There wasn't a tomato sauce, which completes what a meatloaf is. Mash potatoes were almost non existing due to small portion. Vegetables were awesome.

Pros: decent menu variety, good service, delicious dessert, pleasant atmosphere, good flavor for American food Cons: it's American food Fantastic restaurant in downtown Lufkin! I was excited to eat here and they did not disappoint. I'm not fond of American food, but this place had good food in spite of that. I do strongly recommend their desserts, specifically the creme brulee--it's huge and satisfying! It was great to see an old building being reused, and how they've utilized the interior is really heartening. Major props, please keep up the good work!

Fantastic quaint restaurant with great service and pricing. Nice wine and beer selection. The food portions are phenomenal. Lovely vibe with an amazing back patio.

Someone suggested we try this place out. It was a great little quaint surprise. A hidden little gem for the small town of Lufkin. The food was pretty good & it wasn’t an overwhelming amount. The staff were great as well. My hubby & I will be back for more nights to remember (I may stop by for lunch or for a dessert.

Asked s couple folks while walking around downtown Lufkin for a good lunch place with a patio. They pointed us toward Restoration Bistro. Definitely a regular lunch stop for quite a few people. Accommodating by allowing a small dog on patio. Food was quick and service was good. Atmosphere is great inside. Lunch specials are a half sandwich and a side. The fried green tomatoes were excellent and disappeared to fast for a picture. Fresh iced tea.

I love the atmosphere at Restoration Bistro, it's perfect for brunch, a date night, or even a wine night with the girls! Our service could've been a little better, but I think our waitress could've been new. The food and mimosas were great, I especially loved the baked brie plate. I would recommend and would definitely go back!
